TikTok Pixel
- In TikTok Ads Manager, open the events section and copy the pixel code: Latin letters and digits, for example
C4A1B2C3D4E5F6G7H8I9. - In Tersby, in “Ad accounts”, open an account and paste the code into the TikTok Pixel block.
From then on the account's sites send TikTok the page view, the product view, the press of “Order” and the lead.
TikTok Events API
An Events API token makes leads and purchases go from the server as well. Create it in the pixel's settings in TikTok Ads Manager and paste it into the same block in Tersby. The browser event and the server event carry the same lead id, so TikTok counts it once.
Google Ads
Google Ads receives a lead as a conversion.
- In Google Ads, open Goals, then Conversions, and create a conversion for a website.
- In the tag setup, find the
send_toline. It looks like this:AW-123456789/AbCdEf. - The part before the slash is the conversion ID, the part after it the label. Paste both into the Google Ads block in the Tersby ad account.
The product's price and the buyer's phone for enhanced conversions are sent with the conversion. The lead's id serves as the transaction id: sending the form again won't create a second conversion.
Google Tag Manager
If you need your own tags and counters, enter a container like GTM-XXXXXXX in the ad account. It loads on all the account's sites.
A site's own settings
Everything above can also be set for a single site, on the “SEO and ads” tab of the editor. A site's settings take priority over the account's.
If events stop arriving
Tersby watches the server events. If TikTok rejects them, for example because the token expired, an alert arrives in Telegram and the account's card shows the error.
