In short
- Simple mode: you pick a template and fill in the fields (headline, photo, price, advantages, reviews, form). The design is already put together and can't be broken. A site is ready in 10-15 minutes.
- Expert mode: you build the page yourself from elements and ready-made sections, like in a site builder. Full freedom: any order, your own fonts and colours, animations, several pages, popups, languages.
When simple mode is enough
- One product or service, and you need a quick landing page for ads.
- You test many offers and want to launch a site a day.
- The page has to look neat without a designer.
In simple mode you change the texts, photos, prices, the order and visibility of the template's blocks, colours and fonts. See «Simple mode: every tab».
When you need expert mode
- Your own page structure or a brand design.
- A site with several pages: a catalogue, «About us», «Thank you», a course split into lessons.
- Popups, a quiz, a discount wheel, video reviews, your own header with a menu.
- A site in several languages or password-protected pages.
Where to start: «Expert mode: how the editor works».
Can you combine them
Yes. On a template site, expert mode adds your sections between the template's blocks: the template's blocks are still edited in simple mode, and your sections are built however you like. So you can take a ready template and add, say, video reviews or a discount wheel to it.
If you want the whole page in expert mode, create a site on the «Blank site» template. It opens straight in expert mode, and the whole page, header and footer included, is yours.
What both modes share
Leads, pixels, UTM tags, domains, notifications, CRM, A/B tests and the version history work the same whichever mode you choose.
